The concentration of AAC-rich mRNAs is low in dormant spores and growing cells, but increases during spore-germination and multicellular development.

Miscellaneous

Several proteins derive from AAC-rich mRNA, which, due to a frameshift also have ACA and CAA codons and thus are Asn-, Thr- or Gln-rich.
